Welcome to my page! I’d like to call myself a chef with 30+ experience but that would be a lie.  In fact I am just an ordinary 26 years old woman trying to blog what she is passionate about. My passion is food. I love food and I love people who loves food.

I have never been to a culinary school or taken cooking classes but here is the thing…my friends and people who have tried my food always tell me to open a restaurant and I trust their opinion so here I am, ready to share what I know about Burmese food and other Asian food on this blog…I know this is not exactly a 5 stars restaurant but I believe this will be the first step.

Many do not know where Burma is and that’s ok. I don’t know all the countries in the world either.  Burma is located in mainland Southeast Asia, neighboring India in the west, Thailand in the East and China in the north. Burmese food is very special because it is very different from other Southeast Asian cuisine and too bad many people are not familiar with it. We eat noodle soups & salad, rice and side dishes, rice salad and other salads (totally different from western style salad), soup. We eat goat, lamb, mutton, pork, beef, chicken, fish– you name it.
